Blogger Struck at Rhinebeck

Let me just say yesterday was an awesome day. So awesome in fact that I only took a few pictures (so sorry)! This was the first fiber festival with out my kids and I was with some great people Katy and her friend blogless Jean ( oh I hope I spelled that right) who were also children free for the day. This was Jean's first time at Rhinebeck so it was so great to see her excitement at being there. I'm not sure she had any idea of how big it is and how many people there'd be. We did lots and lots of shopping, but more on that later. The blogger meet up was a whirl wind and so much fun to finally get to meet a lot of the people whose blogs I read and leave comments on a daily basis as well as some bloggers I've already met (sorry if I missed anyone).

Karen and her husband. This was their first Rhinebeck experience as well.

Once the fair was over we headed for Morehouse Merino but not before Jean helped out some bloggers in trouble but I'll let Katy tell you about that. She took a really great picture. I was so excited to be at Morehouse Merino's store "In sheep's clothing" and to get to touch all their different yarns in person! I also got to meet up with Cynthia again as well as her friend and as I was checking out I saw Pippi which I didn't know for sure until she confirmed it today. After that we headed for home. I have to say I was really sad to see the day end it was such a blast and I really had a great time hanging out with Katy and Jean hopefully we can do it again next year girls! Tomorrow pictures of all the fiber goodies I brought home. Have a great night!

A day for the memories, that's for sure! Next year: an overnight. I only got to about half the barns and didn't spend anywhere near enough money!! LOL Just all that was in my pocket.
