I did quite a bit of shopping at Rhinebeck! Here's what I brought home.
First up the fiber.
Starting from the back left is Blue Moon's superwash fiber to spin up some socks. It also came with instructions on how to spin Socks that Rock type yarn. On next to that is a pound and a half of gorgeous wool/mohair/llama blend fiber. It's so soft! There in the front are some batts from Grafton Fibers.
Now for the sock yarn
From the left there is Lorna's laces in "bittersweet" , sock yarn from Autumn House Farm, sock yarn from Ellen's 1/2 pint farm ( doesn't it look like pink lemonade?), and 3 skeins of kogiu and the diamond patch sock pattern. I really wanted to buy a little str I even had some in my hands but the line was like the whole length of barn! I had shopping to do and I couldn't see myself waiting in that line. I did go back at the end of the day but there was no str to be found.Luckily I anticipated that might happen so I ordered some a few days before the wool fest and they came today wanna see?
Puck's mischief, heart throb, and purple rain. There is a fourth skein but there's a whole story behind that one and you'll have to wait until next post to find out.
Last but not least Morehouse Merino. You didn't think I could go there and not buy anything did you?
Unfortunately all I can show you is the bag because my husband's Christmas present is in there and he does read the blog from time to time (hopefully not this particular post. He's still not sure how much I actually bought).
Bloglines
A few people have brought to my attention that they are having trouble finding my blog on bloglines. So I checked into it and instead of it being under thegabbyknitter.com it's under thegabbyknitter.typepad.com. Hopefully I can get my husband to help me fix it but for now that's where you can find me. Have a great night all!
Great haul!

How very smart to save your yarn and fiber haul for a separate post. You got such wonderful stuff, they did deserve a post all their own. :)

OK, so I want everything that you bought! I have yarn envy. How soft is that Autumn House Farm sock yarn? I especially like that. The colors are beautiful!

Beautiful stuff. And you know that I am looking at fiber with a whole new eye now, so I am drooling over your new chairload. I have a whole new obsession building...

Oh I am drooling. You have a good haul there. I haven't tried str yet, but I have heard so many great things about it. Where can I order some of my own?

Boy, maybe it is good that I did not go to Rhinebeck. I would have doubled my stash!

Looks like the fun will continue! I actually did go to Morehouse Merino store and tried so hard to find something to buy but couldn't. Yeah, I left without buying a single thing. But then, I'm leaving tomorrow for another fiber festival, so I did have incentive to save the spending money.
